Hola, my name is Rick, also known as CaboRicardo. My wife and I have been coming to Los Cabos for over twenty five years. We have watched it grow from a small fishing village to a place of means. We now own a home, and we are spending more and more of our time enjoying the Cabo lifestyle. Every time we are in Los Cabos, we meet many people that do not venture far from their hotels due to a lack of knowledge. Our website has been created to open the eyes of visitors and broaden their experience in Los Cabos through our own eyes and the experience of others.
Our goal is to give back to the community that has provided us with so many memorable moments. We have developed an informative website for newcomers and returning visitors that have not ventured out and about the true Los Cabos area. The web address is WWW.CABORICARDO.COM.
One of the main focal points of the website is “Featured Businesses” to include, but not be limited to: restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and outdoor activities. After reviewing the requirements listed below, we hope you will be interested in becoming a featured restaurant. Requirements to be a featured Restaurant:
1. Complimentary meals to be provided by restaurant to CaboRicardo for a minimum of 2, maximum of 6 adults. Any and all gratuities will be paid by CaboRicardo and based on estimated cost of meals and beverages provided.
2. Entrees to be served, are to be chosen by your restaurant, preferably being “specialties” of the house. A minimum of one beverage per person to be provided, complimentary, again, “specialties” of the house preferred.
3. CaboRicardo’s personnel being served will always include at least one or two writers, and a photographer. Please don’t be surprised if you see our plates being exchanged or drinks being passed. All of us want to experience everything we can before creating the featured story!
4. In some cases, we may opt to return for additional photographs when the restaurant is crowed. It is always nice for pictures on the web to show “customer demand” for a facility. Showing your restaurant when it is busy helps show the signs of success.
5. Some of the criteria we are looking for and will write about will include: atmosphere, food quality, food freshness and presentation, service, wait time after ordering, menu variety, cleanliness of restaurant and restroom facilities.
6. With your permission, we will be taking pictures of your restaurant, meals and beverage service, any special table side preparations, the kitchen, some staff and any special requests you may have. Any information you can provide to us regarding the history of your restaurant will be greatly appreciated and included in our featured article. Your being a “Featured Business” on our website, will be of great value to you.
Other than your providing us with your services, there are no additional fees. This is a great source of third party advertising. Our goal is to continue to increase the amount of traffic to our website and thereby, your restaurant. We will be doing more giveaways and other special promotions.
